OFFICIAL HISTORY OF ENGLISH RUGBY

Introduced by Lawrence Dallaglio and narrated by Mark Durden-Smith, this 135-minute DVD traces the origins of the game from William Webb Ellis right through to England's incredibile team of the NEw Millennium, culminating in their 2003 Grand Slam success.

The RFU-endorsed programme includes all the famous England teams from the early era of Poulton Palmer and Wavell Wakefield - which won three Grand Slams in the 1920's - as well as the post war sides of John Currie and David Marques whose1957 Grand Slam was the first since 1928, and Bill Beaumont's legendary side from 1980.

England's rightful place at the top of the Five Nations' tree returned in the 1990's with Will Carling's double Grand Slam winners of 1991 and 1992 with a further Grand Slam in 1995 and Championship victory in 1996.

The complete story is brought right up to date with England's incredible double victories over Australia and South Africa in both 2000 and 2001, their winning of the Investec Challenge in 2002 and the Grand Slam in 2003.
